Renee & Pete’s wedding…oh, where to start!!! I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Renee and her family over the last five years, a number that’s already hard to believe! Getting to know everyone and seeing their families grow is honestly one of the most honored parts of my job, because to be invited back time and again to freeze time with my photographs, well, that never stops being humbling for me. (I also need to mention that I LOVE spending time with this group of people!)

As I described back in their engagement session post, when Renee initially emailed me about photographing their wedding, I still remember her words: “I finally met the love of my life.” That’s all that really needs to be said when it comes to Renee and Pete together…spending five minutes with them, it becomes quite clear. Their wedding encompassed a romantic, downtown Milwaukee affair, but most importantly, it overflowed with excitement, adoration and joy! (And her niece may be one of the cutest flower girls of all time…those adorable pink glasses!) Their classic taste as a couple included peonies, rose gold rings, J.Crew and a jaw-dropping veil. But most importantly, their day was perfectly them and simply perfect!
