Happy 2012 everyone! It’s good to be back…I love the fresh start of a new year. Maybe it’s the crazy 50-degree weather we’ve been having in Wisconsin (oh yes, oh yes!), but I have actually been enjoying this season rather than getting the winter blahs. I know, I sound like a crazy person! If only this can continue through March/April, right?? My 30th is coming up in February, so if anyone important is reading this…let’s make 50 degrees and no snow happen around the 21st…thanks!

I’ve probably said it before, but I am and always will be a Midwestern girl. I love to travel and see new places, but it’s always the best to come back to the Midwest, where the people are the nicest + the scenery can crush you in so many different, beautiful ways. Wisco winters are usually the worst, but I like to believe they’re what make most people here the way they are. And I will happily shoot along the shores of Lake Michigan again and again.
