You guys…these photos are a little extra-special to me. Meet my childhood friend Katie and her fiance, Chris!! They are getting married in their city this weekend–Chicago–and I am so, so excited for them! (And am currently planning around Cubs game traffic, pray for me.).

I’ve known Katie since our dance team days, when we were two crazy, beyond-weird teenagers that had waaaaayy too much fun being ironically into Tiffany (in the late 90s) and quoting/reenacting scenes from Carrie. I’ll spare any painful pictures of this era, but if we’re friends on Facebook, well then you’ve probably already seen me tagged in them. But Katie and Chris? It’s so sweet to see someone you’ve known for so long find someone that clearly makes them so happy + adds to their essence. Shooting with them for an afternoon was simply picking up where things left off. :)  (That mixed in with a few dandelions we found.)  I loved meeting you Chris, and this Saturday is going to be a great one. xoxox
